Frequently Asked Questions.

Is KSI Montenegro an accredited International School?

Yes. KSI Montenegro is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School fully authorised to offer the PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) and the DP (Diploma Programme). In addition, KSIM is fully authorised by the Montenegrin Ministry of Education and is proud to have become the first private school in Montenegro to be fully licensed and able to offer an international education. Our Pre-School, Elementary and High School licences enable Montenegrin and expatriate citizens between the ages 3 to 19 years to legally attend the school.

KSIM is also fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) as well as being a member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA).

Do students wear a uniform?

All students are required to wear a complete school uniform every day. The Dress Code at KSIM is driven by a desire to create and promote a positive environment of learning and should reinforce in students a pride in their own appearance, instil recognition of themselves as an integral part of the KSI community, and contribute to our students’ pride in, and identification with our school. Uniform is ordered through, and provided by the school as part of annual tuition fees.

Does the school offer Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs)?
Yes. As a school dedicated to personalised learning and helping students to discover and pursue their passions, we help them develop skills and interests through a varied and changing selection of enrichment activities covering sports, arts, and much more. The cost of most ECAs is included within school fees, although an additional payment may be required for activities involving more specialised instruction or equipment. The majority of ECAs take place after regular school hours, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
