KSI Montenegro Judo Club recognised World Judo Day 2018 - the day is dedicated to coaches, fans, judoka and everyone with a passion for one of the world’s most widely practiced sports. The World Judo Day takes place on the same date every year (October, 28th) as it’s the birth date of Jigoro Kano, the founder of judo. Today, more than 40 million people practice judo around the world on a daily basis, including our Kinder to Year 4 students (after school) every Tuesday and Thursday.

October, 24th has been celebrated as United Nations Day since 1948 and since 2016 it has also been the day the community at Knightsbridge Schools International Montenegro joins together to celebrate the diversity and many different cultures that make up the school community. Last week, as part European Mobility Week, our Year 12 DP students organised games and activities to help turn the Municipality Car Park in Istarska Ulica into an open area for fun and entertainment. PARK(ing) Day is an event that is held annually throughout the world, and sees citizens turn parking into temporary public spaces.
