Last week, all students at KSI Montenegro participated in the Hour of Code, a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. The Hour of Code takes place during Computer Science Education Week, which is held annually in recognition of the birthday of computing pioneer Grace Murray Hopper.
At SIM we recognise that our student should have opportunities to learn computer science and remain committed to exploring ways in which digital learning can be integrated within our taught curriculum - Computer science opens up a whole world of possibilities to nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity and by starting early, our students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.
There’s a lot more for our young learners still to experience, and many of our PYP students were eager to do more - the learning can continue with these activities on https://code.org all that’s needed is a device and an internet connection! #GetCoding
