Welcome to Knightsbridge School International Montenegro

Dear Friends and Visitors,

In September 2010, KSI Montenegro opened its doors to its first students. Now, ten years on, we are delighted to have reached the point in our history that provides us with the opportunity to celebrate our achievements over the past decade, to recognise our school's transformation, and look forward to continued success into the future.

As Head of School, I consider myself extremely fortunate and privileged to be able to see the many amazing things that happen inside and outside our classrooms every day. As our school community continues to grow, so do the ways in which we enrich learning and help all our children to become exceedingly well rounded individuals, engaged and curious students, and young people with strong identities. I have long-held the view that a child with a curious mind will forever be empowered for the possibilities of the future, so it is wonderful to see our teachers continually striving to ignite and sustain each child’s endless quest for discovery, and to see our amazing students so keen to respond.

Without doubt, the strongest wish of most parents is to provide their child with best possible opportunity of having a safe, happy and productive life; when parents visit our school, many share their desire for an environment and curriculum that helps and supports their child to develop as the unique individual they know them to be; can they acquire knowledge and information that’s important and worthwhile? Are they learning valuable skills? Will they discover their strengths and receive help in areas they find more difficult? Are they going to be stretched and enjoy the challenge? Will they grow in confidence and ability? At KSI Montenegro, these are all questions our teaching and leadership team regularly ask and strive to answer in order to enable all our students to become all that they can be.

As an International Baccalaureate World School, we aim to develop active learners who are empowered to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical and reflective thinkers. We really do aim to support all of our young people in becoming confident in their own identities, able to make ethical decisions, and prepared to apply what they learn in real-world, complex and unpredictable situations.

I really do look forward to having the opportunity to meet you, and to potentially welcoming your family to our school community.

In partnership,

Rob Ingham
Head of School
