Robert graduated in 2002 with a first class B.Ed honours degree in Primary Education from the University of North London and taught in the east of England before his move to the Middle East in 2005. He has attended regular curriculum seminars and IB workshops and, in previous schools, achieved learning coach status. Robert joined KSI Montenegro after spending eleven years teaching at international and IB schools in Dubai, with students from many diverse backgrounds in classrooms across the whole primary age range. His overseas experiences have enhanced Rob's passion for international education, and teaching the IB Primary Years Programme complements his own philosophies and desire to provide access to rich, stimulating experiences that appeal to, excite, and stimulate his students' interests and natural curiosity. One of Rob's greatest passions is watching and coaching football. He holds an English FA football coaching qualification. Besides that, he volunteers for an NGO that supports educational and community initiatives in the rural Eastern Province of Zambia. Robert is from England.

Kevin has a bachelor of art degree in History and a master of science in Secondary Education, both from Niagara University. He left Western New York in 2007 and has spent nearly ten years teaching all over the world. Kevin has taught in the USA, Japan, South Korea, Poland and Indonesia before landing in Montenegro. He has seven years experience working with the IB programme and believes in the ethos that it provides towards educational philosophy. Kevin also has attended many IB conferences and courses in history, English and CAS to improve pedagogically. When not teaching, Kevin loves engaging in all kinds of sporting activities including tennis, running, and waiting for golf to arrive on the Montenegrin scene. Kevin is very excited to be a member of such a great team at KSI, is proud of what they have accomplished during his tenure so far at the school, and hopes for continued success in the future. Marija graduated from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade after which she started gaining experience teaching English language to young learners. For five years Marija was a key member of the teaching staff in local elementary schools before she joined the team of KSI Montenegro in 2010, when the school was founded. Marija has dedicated herself to creating a positive and inspiring classroom environment. She loves supporting children's creativity and imagination, making school an exciting place for all learners. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and personal growth. Besides teaching, Marija is an experienced translator and interpreter. She loves passing her passion for language and literature to her learners, being a voracious reader. She also enjoys writing for pleasure, painting, drawing, arts and crafts and above all being a mother to her two daughters. Marija is from Montenegro.

Jacqui will become new MYP Coordinator and MYP/DP English Teacher, and comes to KSIM from the International School of Tanganyika in Tanzania, where she has been the DP English Language and Literature teacher since 2015. As an IB teacher and examiner, Jacqui brings great experience as well as deep and broad knowledge of both the MYP and DP to KSI Montenegro. In addition to her extensive experience teaching the Literature and Language and Literature courses, she also has strong experience teaching the IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course, as well as coordinating MYP Personal Project, and mentoring students on their CAS events. Jacqui has also supervised extended essays and is proud to have helped many students to achieve the best grade they are capable of over a number of years.

Since leaving her home country of Australia in 2001, Jacqui’s international school experiences include opportunities to live and work in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Dili (Timor-Leste), Tokyo (Japan), Guangzhou (China) and Jakarta (Indonesia), as well as her previous school in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania).

With a degree in Mathematics from Santa Clara University in the Silicon Valley area of California, Zachary left the corporate workforce to become an educator as a part of the New York City Teaching Fellows program and attended Masters courses in adolescent mathematics education at Brooklyn College. After five years teaching Mathematics and working as the Technology Coordinator in a Brooklyn inner city high school, he took his education experience and technology background to the prestigious Berkeley Carroll School to implement a new vision for technology education. Enticed by the opportunity to help shape the curriculum of a blossoming school, he joined the founding KSI MYP team in the Fall of 2013. As of 2018, he has 14 years of experience in education. Zachary hopes to inspire passionate learners, to identify the unique strengths and needs of each student and develop their skills, independence and confidence as thinkers and global citizens who recognize their ability to impact the world. Zachary is from USA.

Ivana’s passion for French language and literature stems from the nine years she lived in the country; four of which were spent studying French modern literature at Sorbonne University in Paris.  She attended University in Strasbourg where she gained a Masters degree in Public Administration, Human Resources and Public Management, and also studied at École Nationale d’Administration in Strasbourg.   She has extensive experience as a professor of French. She worked as a professor of French at the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Translation and interpretation of French – English – Montenegrin. She also taught diplomatic French to montenegrin civil servants on all levels of knowledge and prepared them for French degrees known as DELF and DALF. She have the Diploma for French teachers to be examiners in DALF and DELF oral and written exams, as well as the DALF Diploma from Alliance Française in Paris and the Diplomas of French language and civilisation courses at Sorbonne – Paris IV for levels A1 - C2. She attended a Seminar for French language teachers at Alliance «Brussels-Europe» in Brussels and the Training «Introduction in consecutive interpretation for French language» for French/English language interpreters. She made a consecutive interpretation from Montenegrin into French of a lecture of Prof. Dr Daniel Leuwers from François-Rabelais University in Tours, on the topic: «Novella in France», on the occasion of the colloquium «Dani novele» at the bookstore Karver, Podgorica and translated the novella «Before the Twelfth Hour» by Aleksandar Becanović from Montenegrin into French language. In the domain of public administration, she worked as adviser for international relations in the Department for media relations and protocol in Parliament of Montenegro and worked as adviser for protocol in the State Protocol of Montenegro. Robert (Bob) joins KSI Montenegro as new DP Physics teacher, and an MYP and DP Mathematics teacher. Bob has been a high school teacher of Physics, Mathematics, Science and ICT for over 25 years and is originally from Scotland. He is making the move to KSIM, with his wife Rhiannon, from their current home and international IB school in Bogota, Columbia. After spending a number of years teaching at schools in London and Wales, Bob began his International teaching career in 2011 at a school in Busan, South Korea, before moving to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In all of his schools, he has been an active participant in, and organiser of, many extra-curricular activities that stretch and challenge the young people he has worked with. He has a passion for the outdoors and is a qualified Mountain Leader, recognised in the UK as an outdoor leadership qualification, as well as being an experienced sports climber and a keen skier. He enjoys spending time in the hills and mountains, both for pleasure and instructing students; in recent years he has led service expeditions to Borneo and the Amazon, as well as climbing the two highest mountains in South Korea, in addition to taking part in outdoor adventure trips with students to Oman and Cyprus. Bob is also a qualified Rugby coach, and has also coached middle school girls and high school boys’ football teams to success in inter-school competitions and tournaments.

Rhiannon Lewis is joining KSIM as an MYP English, and MYP Individuals and Societies teacher and is making the move to Montenegro (with her husband, Mr. Bob) from an IB international school in Bogota. At university, Ms. Rhiannon studied Film and Literature, French and History, before qualifying as a teacher in 1991 and joining her first school in London. She has extensive experience as an English language, Humanities and French teacher in primary and secondary school environments in the UK and internationally. In addition, she has acquired experiences teaching and supporting bilingual and multilingual learners from a wide-range of cultural backgrounds. Ms. Rhiannon sees the move to KSI and Montenegro as an ideal opportunity to share her passion for educating the whole child, and is excited at the opportunity to share her skills as a friendly, enthusiastic, good-humoured member of the KSIM community. After spending time in Asia, the Middle East and South America, she really relishes the opportunity to continue discovering different cultures, meeting new people, and learning more about Montenegro and the Balkans.

Jelena graduated from J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as Master of Arts in Pedagogy and Master of Arts in Croatian Language and Literature. Besides working as a pedagogue in elementary schools for over three years, she also has experience working with other international organizations - SOS Children's Village Ladimirevci (counsellor and a learning support in one of the world's largest international child charity) and coordinating a Unicef program For a Safe and Stimulating Environment in Schools that addresses bullying. Always aiming to improve her skills, she participated in over 30 seminars and professional development workshops. Because of her dedication and involvement in different projects, she has been a guest speaker at National Pedagogues Assembly and received the Certificate of Excellence Award. Being inspired by working with children, she enjoys volunteering and was involved with therapeutic horseback riding for special needs children. Passionate about teaching, she aims to encourage an environment for creative excellence as her own after school activities often include writing poetry, drawing, jewelry making, etc. With a background in martial arts, Jelena believes in promoting harmony and appreciates the opportunity to do so as the school's Pastoral Mentor. Mileva graduated from the University of Philosophy in Niksic where she gained a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature. She specialized in teaching English. Mileva has five years of experience working as a teacher of English language through public and international schools in Montenegro. With her passion for sports and English she was engaged as a counselor at KSI Summer Camp for four years. At KSI Montenegro, Mileva was teaching arts and music to PYP students and Montenegrin to both PYP and MYP students. She also held Montenegrin language course for adults. Mileva finds an international environment motivating and inspiring and believes in lifelong learning. She enjoys sports and music, and her hobby is writing poetry and short stories. Emilija holds Master Degree of Serbian Language and World Literature from University of Belgrade (Serbia), and she is a PHD student of World Literature, University of Belgrade. She participated in a student exchange program with the USA and worked in "Busch Gardens" Williamsburg - Sea World and Entertainment park in the State of Virginia. Emilija has volunteered for a famous newspaper company in Belgrade, specialized in knowledge and science. She has completed her internship at Knightsbridge School of Montenegro, thereafter she has worked as a teacher in a public school "Njegos", Kotor, before she became a Kindergarten teacher assistant. Now she teaches Montenegrin language to PYP students. Besides teaching, Emilija loves dancing, and she was triple champion in disco and show dance in Serbia and Montenegro. Nowadays, she also enjoys dancing jazz ballet. Emilija is from Montenegro.

Ilda holds BA degree in German Language and Literature, and Specialized studies - German Language Teacher Education at the University of Philology in Niksic. She spent an academic year abroad at the Heidelberg University, Germany at the Institute of German as Foreign language Philology and one academic semester at the University of Vienna, Austria at the department for Trans-Cultural Communication. Ilda has started gaining her experience in education quite recently, working in a local primary school and teaching private language lessons. Occasionally, she has been a representative of her country during different youth events. She was also a part of a commemoration on the German National Day of Mourning 2013 where she delivered a short speech at the German Parliament (Bundestag). Lauren will become new DP Biology, DP Chemistry, and MYP Science Teacher at KSI Montenegro. Lauren’s previous school was Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School; an independent day and boarding school in Kingston, Pennsylvania, USA. Prior to taking up her current post she was the Director of IB Curriculum and Instruction at the International School of Panama for six years. Her work as a teacher and senior school leader in international (IB) and American independent schools, has seen Lauren develop exciting, engaging, rigorous, and relevant instruction, and assessment practices. She prides herself on the inclusion of authentic problem solving opportunities in her science lessons, and is keen to provide pathways for KSIM students to follow their passions and specialise in individual areas of interest. Lauren has a strong desire to be part of dynamic learning environment in which students discover, apply, and create in and beyond the Science Lab; in addition to providing extra-curricular opportunities for students she is also excited at the prospect of sharing her interest in outdoor pursuits (hiking, camping, etc.), as well as her coaching skills in swimming and field hockey.

Nadja gained her Pre-school Teachers' Certificate from the University of Kikinda, one of the best teacher training institutions in the Balkans. She works for KSI Montenegro since it's opening in 2010. She has started working aside with international teacher for three years and after that she has been leading the class of 3-5 year olds on her own. Nadja has taken several professional development courses from the IB. Prior to teaching at KSI Montenegro, she has taught at the Montenegrin state preschool for four years, and year and a half at the orphanage in Bijela. Her experience, her dedication, creativity and responsibility have ensured a seamless fit into the unique ethos of Knightsbridge Schools International in Montenegro. Although she doesn't have children herself, she sees her kindergarten learners as her own. Nadja is from Montenegro.

Paul will be joining us as our Year 5-6 Class Teacher. Paul is currently a Year 6 PYP teacher at an IB School in Muscat, Oman. Originally from Liverpool, England, he worked in a UK primary school and was a Year 5 teacher before teaching internationally. His desire to live and work within an international community was a motivating factor in Paul’s decision to leave the UK and to teach in IB schools. His interest in different cultures has also been a catalyst for him to learn different languages; he describes himself as “modestly apt” in Italian, with a basic understanding of French, and aspects of Arabic. Paul is also a keen sportsman who trains regularly and practices Mixed Martial Arts, as well as Judo, Greco- Roman Wrestling and Karate, in which he was the British Kata and Kumite Champion in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Being from the city of Liverpool, it isn’t surprising that he has a passion for football, and Liverpool FC! Also a keen fiction writer, Paul’s passion for literature as well as sport will find a welcome home at KSI Montenegro.

Lindy attended NC State and Meredith College where she did her undergraduate work in Psychology and Education. She taught for 7 years in the public school system there and during that time, Lindy obtained a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in literacy from Meredith College.  Lindy’s first overseas teaching adventure was helping to open a small school in Madagascar where she taught a multiage class of first and second graders. Her most recent adventure has been in Tokyo where she have been teaching First grade for 4 years. Lindy will be beginning her 14th year of teaching at KSI Montenegro! Lindy have a strong passion for literacy and math instruction and believes wholeheartedly that inquiry and fun help learning come to life! Lindy is from North Carolina, USA.

After completing secondary and working full-time for five years in finance and office administration, Katrina moved away from her hometown in Bowen to commence her Bachelor of Education at James Cook University. Not long after completing her degree, Katrina started her travels and international teaching experience. Now she has been teaching for approximately ten years. Eight of these have been in international schools in England, Spain, Dubai and Indonesia. Teaching in international schools gave her the opportunity to form relationships with students and families from all around the world. Students in the class were usually from diverse countries, cultures and religions. This in itself creates rich learning environments which are very special.

Katrina grew up in Queensland, Australia, where she developed a love for the beach. Most weekends were spent with family and friends snorkelling, jet skiing or fishing.

Tamara has been working with Knightsbridge Schools International since 2010. She was the first employee here in Montenegro, so she is the one experienced in the history of School's development. Tamara gained her bachelor's degree in Engineering at the Maritime Faculty in Kotor and has extensive professional experience in administration, office management and project management. She also has experience in teaching children Mathematics and English. Tamara takes education very seriously, but she also knows how important it is to have fun, relax and enjoy a balanced life. Zorica holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the Department for Organisational Management and a Bachelor degree in Economics, both from the University of Montenegro. Zorica's work experience started during her final year of university when she volunteered at the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro. After that, she worked at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro for two and a half years as a Secretary of the Association of Banks, other financial institutions and insurance companies. Zorica is very proud of her work in organising a participation of Montenegro at the Expo Milano 2015. She also has experience in working for NGOs and private companies such as the Dukley Marina, Budva. Zorica joined KSI Montenegro in June 2015 and she is very excited to be further developing her professional abilities through her work with and for the KSI community. Zorica is an ambitious and motivated person who seeks to improve her knowledge of her profession and related fields through constant education. Zorica is a proud Montenegrin.
