WELCOME TO OUR WORLD
Since opening in 2010 a strong community has been at the heart of our school. The relationship between the parents and the school is a big part of what makes KSIM such a special place.
Our aim is to keep this relationship as strong as it can be in a variety of ways, including the hosting and creation of events that further strengthen the bond and enable us to come together as a community to get involved to support and enrich our community.
Parent Involvement & Engagement
The school also holds 3-Way and Student-Led Conferences so that parents can meet with teachers and their children to ask questions, and celebrate their progress and achievements. Monthly coffee morning meetings with the Head of School are also held in order for parents to understand the latest developments at the school and to ask any questions to the school administration.
The KSI house system is designed to represent the values and positive culture of our School. The pastoral house system is used to encourage and develop teamwork, camaraderie and friendly competition. Cross-phase house events instil a sense of belonging and community, with events such as our Sports Days providing an opportunity for all students to earn points for their house teams, leading to an overall Yearly House Champion. These events allow students to work collaboratively and develop relationships with other students of different ages within their houses.
Students are allocated to their house upon joining the school, and belong to it throughout their time at KSIM. With around 80% of Montenegro is covered in mountains, four of the highest peaks provide the inspiration for, and names of our Houses:
